Join us for an exciting new program at Almond Elementary! Students in grades 1st-3rd are invited to join us on Tuesdays to work on their performing arts skills in a fun and creative class that meets once a week for 9 weeks. The program will culminate in a pre-show performance at our Sunday matinee of "The Lion King Jr." This is a great introduction to being a part of a show and to getting comfortable performing in front of a full audience!

 

Our "Lion King Jr." assistant director will work with the class to create two songs and dances to perform. Class time will also be spent playing theatre games to hone skills such as projection, improvisation, miming, storytelling, character development, and more!

 

Imagination, creativity, focus, teamwork and fun are the framework for The Green Room's performing arts classes.  Students train with our artistic teachers to hone the skills of the stage. Join us for a fun introduction to the performing arts with classes in acting, improvisation, dance movement, and music!

 

GRADES: 1st - 3rd

DATES: Tuesdays > Sept. 10th - Nov. 5th (No class Oct. 1st)

TIME: 3:00pm - 4:00pm (Pre-care available starting 2:40 for $55))
